Science and Business for Smart Future
On 10 and 11 June Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" hosts the International business conference "Science and Business for Smart Future." The event is the successor of the traditions of the conference "Informatics in Scientific Knowledge." Within the frames of the forum co-developments of representatives from science and business, aiming at promoting and enhancing business confidence in the ability of scientific organizations, as well as stimulating partnership will be presented.
The conference will be organized in discussion panels with accompanying poster session, seminars, networking, masterclass "Finance and Behavioral Economics" with lecturers Prof. Dr. George Vredeveld, from the University of Cincinnati, the USA; Prof. Dr. Richard MacDonald from the University "St. Cloud", the USA and Prof. D. Sc. Dimitar Kanev from VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
Discussion panels will be organized in three main thematic areas: "Technology - the driving force of smart specialization" "Media and Education" and "Business, Administration and Politics for Smart Growth."
Co-organizers of the event are the Bulgarian Association of Software Companies (BASSCOM), the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Institute for Economic Research of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in partnership with the Union of Journalists in Bulgaria and the Institute of Software Engineering - Center Bulgaria.
