Faculty and students of Varna Free University participated in the International Sports Festival "Neringa Beachball fest - 2016" in Lithuania
The International Sports Festival "Neringa Beachball fest - 2016" was held in the town of Nida, Lithuania from 23 to 28 June, 2016
The event brings together music lovers and fans of volleyball and the well spent remains without a counterpart in Europe.
The event involved representatives of 20 countries - Lithuania, Latvia, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Macedonia, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria.
The beach volleyball team of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" composed of Assoc. Prof. Ognyan Kachev, PhD, Asst. Prof. Katerina Chongova, Elena Yotova and Stoyan Gospodinov participated in the demonstration matches in beach volleyball among 54 teams and represented the university as a partner under a project for stimulating physical activity of young people and co-organizer of the program "Erasmus +" of the international festival.
