Why have we chosen lecturers from Israel on the issue of financing of start-ups?
Innovations, entrepreneurship, start-ups - these are topics that in recent years have gained more popularity and become relevant for a number of changes in the environment and public attitudes not only at home but worldwide.
Increasingly, a lot of people consider themselves to be compelling leaders in these areas but specificity lacks. You can come across countless articles on the subject written in the principle of "copy-paste", which deal with general concepts and are usually associated with very questionable experience.
There are of course, resources worth to study, there are lecturers and trainings that give real practical experience and vision to start a business and find funding. However, it needs a lot of time and critical thinking to navigate through the variety of approaches and commercial proposals.
How we approached: we made a short survey among our students on topics that they are interested in which are in the sphere of entrepreneurship and funding of start-ups, then sent the result to our partners at various universities around the world.
As a result of this correspondence and the task that we entrusted our partners with, we received several proposals which we selected to get the most working and useful option for the upcoming master class. Here's what we get:
On 10 and 11 September, a master class in Start-up Financingwill be launched at Varna Free University in which lecturers will be the Israeli scientists Prof. Eli Miron and Prof. Gilad Ravid from Ben Gurion University in Israel.
Why did we choose speakers from Israel on the issue of financing of start-ups? One of the answers to this question is contained in a very curious reading on the topic: Start-up Nation: The Story Of Israel's Economic Miracle.
The State of Israel can be an example in many aspects. Entrepreneurship and successful investments, however, are among the most interesting of them. That's why we chose to meet you precisely withthe two professors from the University of Ben-Gurion.
