One of the main activities of the laboratory is generating project proposals for the most neglected public places in Varna. The concept of the laboratory envisages the development of creative and innovative projects for Varna by students and lecturers to be provided to Varna Municipality for real implementation.

According to the founders of "Varna - City for People", the prospects for the projects are their development in the technical phase up to the stage of obtaining construction permit and subsequent implementation by the Municipality of Varna. The implemented projects will increase the comfort of the citizens and will serve as a model of good practices for cooperation with the Municipality of Varna.

57 students participated in the development of the projects. More than 100 conceptual projects have been prepared for different public areas of Varna. 21 of them were selected and presented to the Municipality of Varna for approval.

According to the chief architect of Varna, Victor Buzev, two projects - the subways to the University of Economics and at the Yavor bus stop - can be implemented in soon.

Arch. Buzev commented that his favorite at the exhibition is the project for renovation of the subway of Chaika residential quarter (in the direction of the Varna stadium) and he will do his best to be implemented. However, there will be very serious work on the technical and working phases of the project.

The chief architect of Varna revealed that he was impressed by the approach of the young architects. And for the "neglected public places in Varna" he said: "There are lots of places. In all neighborhoods. These are the places in close proximity to the seaside garden used by everybody. As a first step, we must show that this is not just a theory, but similar projects can and will actually happen. "The exhibition, arranged near the Sundial at the entrance of the seaside garden, can be seen until 4 October.
