Students, PhD students and young political scientists from all over Bulgaria established the "Youth Association of Political Sciences" in Varna.
The meeting, held on 16 September, 2017, was attended by representatives of "Student's Club of the Political Scientist" at Plovdiv University "Paisii Hilendarski", "Ego Politico" Association and "Student Association for the Study of International Relations" at the University of National and World Economy , "Workshop on Phenomenology of ARS Policy" at Veliko Tarnovo University "St. Cyril and St. Methodius ", students from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", New Bulgarian University and Sofia University" St. Kliment Ohridski ", as well as young people from all over the country who received education in the field of political science.

Sergei Petrov, a political scientist from Varna was elected for chairperson of the Association. He is a graduate of Veliko Tarnovo and Varna Free University. Currently, he is an expert in "Youth Policies and Partnerships" at "Varna - European Youth Capital" Association. Deputy chairpersons of the organization are Hristina Dimitrova - chairperson of "Ego Politiko" Student Association and Sarkis Sarkasian - a young political scientist who obtained his education in the field of political sciences at Veliko Tarnovo University.
According to the chairperson of the association - Sergei Petrov - the newly established youth political association is open both to young people and a structured dialogue with similar regional, national and international organizations, including all responsible factors that have an impact on Bulgarian youth policies.
"We give a great example. There are representatives with opposing political views in the elected management body of the association. However, they all have realized that as people they can judge what political values they can perceive, but as experts they must be impartial and objective. Everyone is extremely active and motivated to work. It is our responsibility to raise the reputation of the political sciences, to set a new tone and to end the vicious practice in which academics in the field of political science impose party backing points and present them to society as an expert analysis. Because of such practices, it is sometimes shameful in Bulgaria to call yourself a political scientist ", added Sergey Petrov.
