SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS OF ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN
"Varna Design Forum"Association, jointly with Devnya Cement AD and the Chief Architect of the Municipality of Varna, arch. Victor Buzev provides two one-time scholarships, amounting to BGN 1, 000 (one thousand leva) for students of Architecture and Design of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" and for students of Industrial Design at the Technical University of Varna for the academic year 2017/2018. The scholarships are provided on a competitive basis, after assessment of course projects by Jury including representatives of the organizers.
The aim of awarding the scholarships is to stimulate the scholarship holders in their education and to contribute to the interest in the designer’s profession which guarantees the quality of the spatial environment for the human activity.
The candidates must be students in September 2017, enrolled in full-time mode of study in Architecture and / or Design at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" or in Industrial Design at the Technical University of Varna. The candidates for the scholarships are required to provide the following information:
- Scanned student booklet and student status data showing that the student has a grade point average of no less than a good 5.00 for the entire period of study;
- Covering letter for participation in the scholarship competition;
- Portfolio with three course projects at the student's choice with indicated: project completion / submission period, discipline, lecturer, score obtained;
The above information must be sent in jpg to e-mail info@varna-design.com until 24:00 h on 19.09.2017. A jury with representatives of the organizers will select the two winners until 20.09.2017. and will announce the results until 25.09.2017. on the official website of Varna Design Forum Association.
