Master Class on the Art of Public Speech will be Held at Varna Free University at the Weekend

24 November 2017

Some of the most respected experts in the field of effective communication believe  that no matter how talented, smart and qualified you are, 85% of the success in each sphere is due to the ability to be in harmony with others, to persuade them, fascinate them or, in other words, immerse yourself in the art of public speaking.

This is part of the programme of the upcoming master class on The Art of Public Speech, organized by Varna Free University, which will be held on 25 and 26 November 2017 in Hall 2 of the University Educational and Sports Complex.

The master class will be conducted by the actress Lora Mutisheva, PhD, a lecturer at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts. She graduated in acting in 2005 in the class of Prof. Plamen Markov. Since 2002 she has been on a professional stage. In 2005 she joined the troupe of the Stara Zagora Theatre, where she played over ten roles. In the period 2005 - 2008 she was the host of the TV show of BNT "My Language". She is currently a member of the troupe of Sofia Theatre and Assistant Professor at the Theatrical Speech Department at the Krastyo Sarafov National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts.

The attendees in the master class will learn about the key elements of the successful public speaking as body language, gestures and non-verbal communication; they will practice different speaking techniques and learn about the specifics of the theatrical speech. Role games, individual exercises and analyses of behavioral models are also planned.
