On the eve of the Student Day, Varna Free University awarded successful students
On the eve of the Student Day, on 8 December, 53 students from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" received awards and certificates of achievement for excellent performance in international and national competitions, projects and contests and establishing the name and prestige of the university.
On 6 December,in the Educational and Sports Complex, the academic management paid special attention to the student achievements, which are the most valuable ingredient of the academic spirit of the university and the best attestation for the work of the lecturers of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar".
In her address, the President of Varna Free University Prof. Anna Nedyalkova, D.Sc. thanked for the efforts and excellence of the students and wished them to continue to follow their dreams and achieve even more significant and valuable successes.
The Rector, Prof. Galya Gercheva, D.Sc. expressed special gratitude to the members of the University Students' Council for their dedication and responsibility.
Awards and diplomas were received by the participants in the First National Mediation Competition for Students, the winners of the annual personal awards of the Mayor of Varna, the winners of the National Spaghetti Engineering 2017 Competition, the participants in the 6th European Students Festival "Friends, How Wonderful our Union is!" , in the International Science and Practice Seminar on Translation, the World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi, in the International Youth Forum "My Initiative in Education" in St. Petersburg.
Among the winners were also the participants in the International Conference on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Russkiy Mir Foundation, the representative team of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" in volleyball (women), who won the championship for 8 December Cup, the representatives of the Academic Dance theatre without which the festive events at our university would not be the same.
The winners of the 13th edition of the ISOVERMutli-Comfort HouseStudentsContest, who represented the country in Madrid, the winning teams from the national Queryada 2017 data mining competition, the finalists from the Konica Minolta International University Competition in Berlin , the participants in the CFA Research Challenge for financial analyses competition, organized by the Bulgarian CFA Association and the participants in the Pavilion of Knowledge and Youth Creativity project, held within the initiative Varna - European Youth Capital 2017.
The President of Varna Free University wished the students next year to bring them many new occasions to be proud of being part of the academic family of Varna Free University.
