Polina Galinova - a second - year student majoring in
Psychology at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", became for the second time champion of Bulgaria in kickboxing. Polly won gold in the K-1 style for women up to 56 kilograms. And the club of our golden girl -
Shumen Fortress, is № 1 in the team standings of the State Championship for all age groups. The competition from the calendar of the Bulgarian Kickboxing and Muay Thai Confederation was held in the Vasil Levski hall in the town of Pazardzhik.
Polly is a two-time world kickboxing champion for juniors and cadets. In December 2020, she became the Balkan runner-up in the international best boxing tournament Balkan best fighters in the Serbian city of Yagodina, and in March 2021 - won her first national championship in kickboxing. Since 2016 she is part of the national kickboxing team of Bulgaria. Her coach is her father - Galin Metodiev.
Polina chose to study Psychology to better understand the behaviour of her opponents in the ring.
