AN ALUMNAE OF VARNA FREE UNIVERSITY IS A SENATOR OF WORLD BUSINESS ANGELS INVESTMENT FORUM

Elitsa Krumova – a graduate in Informatics and Computer Science at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", has been appointed as a senator from Bulgaria at the World Business Angels Investment Forum. She will represent our country in the Grand Assembly of the World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF), part of the G20. The inclusion of Bulgaria in the WBAF provides a wide range of opportunities for start-up, growing and fast-growing enterprises in Bulgaria and opens doors for economic development.

Elitsa Krumova is a recognized global thought leader and tech influencer. She works in the field of emerging and future technologies, as well as in marketing for this sector. She is developing a personal brand in this field and is an independent consultant at elitsakrumova.com, where she offers services such as influencer marketing, thought leadership, blogging, social media marketing, content creation and public speaking. Her diverse and extensive experience in the marketing, advertising and IT industries enables her to predict trends not only in consumer behaviour and technology, but also future projections of contemporary trends in society and life in general.

One of the most influential women in the world of technology completed her studies at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar"  in 2019. Her diploma thesis was related to technologies in the field of collective intelligence and the Internet of Things. She chose the distance mode of learning. Varna Free University is the first university in Bulgaria with an accredited distance learning bachelor's degree in Informatics and Computer Science.
Elitsa Krumova was the first Bulgarian to enter the prestigious ranking of influencers in the technological sphere of the authoritative The Awards Magazine, in the Top 50 female influencers in the world of technology in 2020 and among the top 10 in the Top 100 Thought Leaders & Influencers Division ranking - IoT Premier League. She has worked for some of the largest corporations in the world, including IBM and Google.
