An Exhibition of the Students Majoring in Graphic Design Presents Creative Solutions to Academic Assignments

Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" presents the second edition of the exhibition, organized by the third-year students majoring in Graphic Design The exhibition includes graphic projects created as part of the assignments in students' second year in Graphic Design, under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Victor Petkov.
The exhibition is the result of the in-depth work and improvement of the students' skills in the field of visual communication. The presented projects cover three main topics: ideograms, pictograms for hypothetical Olympic Games and words as illustrations. Each of these assignments is dedicated to a different aspect of the graphic design, with the main objective being to explore the creative possibilities of visual expression of information.
Particular attention is paid to the development of Olympic Games pictograms, where students not only demonstrate their skills in simplifying shapes and clarity of symbols, but also face the challenge of creating iconic images that carry both aesthetic value and functionality. Each project is built on a thorough analysis of the context and function of the design, as well as on the personal creative vision of the authors.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Viktor Petkov, lecturer and project leader, emphasizes the importance of practical training for the development of young designers: "This exhibition is both a showcase of the students' talent and efforts, and an opportunity for them to connect with real professional challenges. They have the chance to apply their skills and knowledge in conditions close to those of the industry, which prepares them for future creative realization."
The students whose projects are included in the exhibition demonstrate technical mastery, a strong sense of aesthetics and innovation. Their creative solutions show a variety of styles and approaches, with all projects united by the pursuit of creativity and originality.
The exhibition is exhibited in the University's Academic and Sports Complex and is open to all those interested in graphic design, visual communication and modern methods of conveying information through visual means. It provides an excellent opportunity for collaboration and exchange of ideas between students, lecturers and design professionals.
