Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” has welcomed architecture students from Italy, Türkiye, the Czech Republic and Georgia, who will study at the Faculty of Architecture under the Erasmus+ programme during the winter semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.
The students come from Università Iuav di Venezia in Italy, Istanbul University in Türkiye, the Architectural Institute in Prague - ARCHIP in the Czech Republic, and International Black Sea University in Georgia.
Over the coming months, they will take part in specialized courses, interactive workshops and joint projects with their Bulgarian fellow students. Working in international teams will provide opportunities to exchange ideas, explore different approaches to architectural design and build professional networks.
During their stay, the students will also have the opportunity to discover the architectural heritage of Varna and the surrounding region, as well as Bulgarian culture and traditions.
International academic mobility is an integral part of the development of the Faculty of Architecture, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026. Participation in the Erasmus+ programme strengthens partnerships with universities abroad and enriches the academic environment by bringing together different educational and cultural traditions.
