Free access to the e-library of Lan Publishing House
Since 25th March 2014 the university’s library has been granted free access to the complete texts of the informational resources of Lan Publishing House. This was made possible due to the assistance of Russkiy Mir Foundation and the Russian Centre at VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar”.
The e-library system of Lan Publishing House (Russia) was started on 2nd November 2010, and to date it consists of 30 000 electronic versions of books and periodicals in the fields of the humanities, the social and the technical sciences. In 2013 the publishing house decides to grant free access to its platform’s contents to the Russian higher education institutions, and later, to some foreign universities which offer programmes in Russial Language and in Russian Literature. The platform’s collections include the following:
- Classical works in literature studies, history, philosophy etc.
- Classical Russian and foreign literature in the original.
