Do we know our health insurance rights? The National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) is visiting Varna Free University

On March 25th at 12:00, the Aula Maxima Auditorium at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will host a discussion on health, awareness and rights of young people. The students will be addressed by experts from the Regional Health Insurance Fund Miglena Petrova and Yulian Atanasov, who will present information on topics affecting everyone - from health insurance status to access to medical care in our country and in the European Union.

In a direct dialogue with the students, the experts will answer the most frequently asked questions and lay the foundations for a sustainable health culture in the university environment. The highlights of the discussion will include:
► the rights of health insured persons in Bulgaria;
► the options for choosing and changing a General Practitioner;
► the conditions for receiving medical care when traveling in the EU;
► the digital services of the NHIF and access to health information via mobile devices.

The event is open to all students who want to be better informed, more confident and more responsible for their own health.

The meeting is part of the national information campaign of the NHIF under the title 'NHIF for you!', which aims to make the institution closer, more understandable and more accessible to people.
