GOLD AND SILVER MEDALS FOR THE SWIMMERS FROM VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" IN THE "DECEMBER 8 CUP" TOURNAMENT

The sports team of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" performed excellently in the swimming tournament "December 8 Cup", which was held over the weekend at the indoor pool "Dr. Lyuben Lazarov" in The Primorski swimming complex. Under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Ognyan Kachev, our boys and girls won gold and silver medals in the individual ranking.
Blagovest Todorov – a second-year-student in the professional field "National Security", came first in the discipline 50 meters backstroke with the best time of 27.91 ". He came second in the 50 meters crawl.
Elena Marinova, who is also a second year student in "National Security", was awarded a silver medal in the 50-meter butterfly with 34.30 ". The student also came third in the 50-meter backstroke.
The competitions for the "December 8 Cup" were organized by the Municipality of Varna, Sports Directorate with the assistance of Varna universities on the occasion of the upcoming student holiday.
