Fifteen graduates from Nigeria, Cameroon, Bangladesh, Greece, Turkey and Bulgaria successfully defended their master’s theses in the Master’s degree programme in International Business Project Management at Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar.” The defences marked the completion of the programme’s first international class.
The theses proposed solutions to current economic and social challenges in different countries. The topics included “The Impact of Chinese Investments under the One Belt One Road Initiative in Bangladesh,” “A Project Management Model for Integrating Digital Twins and Blockchain into Perishable Food Supply Chains in Nigeria,” and “A Project Management Strategy for Developing International Agricultural Supply Chains in
Developing Economies.” Some of the projects explored the application of artificial intelligence tools in decision-making, project development and management.
The graduates expressed their satisfaction with their studies at Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar,” and some indicated an interest in continuing their academic development at doctoral level.
The programme’s first international class included students from Bangladesh, Greece, Egypt, India, Cameroon, Nigeria, Russia, the United States, Turkey and Ukraine. The curriculum combines strategic planning with practical skills for managing international business projects in a dynamic global environment.
In September, the academic programme was complemented by visits to the European Commission, the European Parliament, the European Committee of the Regions and other European Union institutions. These visits gave participants an opportunity to gain first-hand insight into European policies, institutional mechanisms and practices related to the development and management of international projects.
