An exhibition will present interior design projects by students of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar"

    The exhibition will open at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16 in the House of Architects on 10"Musala" street in Varna. The exhibition will show works of students, including the design of the interior of the main lobby and reconstruction of the Fourth Language School, one of the landmarks of Varna, as well as other diploma projects in interior design.

    Varna Free University will launch several new options for specialization for the students majoring in Design: Design for Architectural Environment, Interior Design, Graphic Design and Lighting Design.

The curriculum of the major in Design has been developed with respect for the traditions of the architectural and artistic training and enriched with specific approach, binding all designelements, subject to the overall spatial concept. The process of learning takes place in the specialized studios of the university using 2D and 3D computer programs, combined with independent creative work.

    During their studies, the students acquire knowledge and skills for innovative design, combinative thinking, complex composition and sense of colour. Among the guest lecturers, who teach courses in the major of Design, are scientists and artists from renowned European universities such as theVenice University Institute of Architecture (IUAV), thePolytechnic University of Milan/ Italy, the School of Architecture in Alicante/ Spain, theMoscowArchitectural Institute (State Academy) – MarchI/ Russia and other partner universities. The students have the opportunity to expand their experience through participation in student mobility program "Erasmus" with different internships at partner universities across Europe. They can also create a competitive portfolio of certificates of additional professional knowledge and skills through participation in international workshops on sustainable architecture, landscape and parametric design, in architecture conferences and international workshops on current topics.
