MASTERS FROM THE SMOLYAN BRANCH PARTICIPATED IN EXTERNAL TRAINING IN THE INTERNATIONAL PLOVDIV FAIR

Students from the Smolyan Branch of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", majoring in the master's degree programmes "Tax and Customs Control" and "European Administration - Management of Public Projects", participated in organized external training at the International Plovdiv Fair.




The students were greeted by the Deputy Governor of Smolyan Yavor Ruzhenov, who was a special guest at the event. "Sustainable partnerships have been established between the Branch of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar " and the District Administration - Smolyan in the name of a common goal - our city to become a modern educational center, to use the potential of young people who want to be well educated and to develop their native town. The trends related to these changes have made our regional education one of the priorities of the regional policy, which should continue with the transition to a new, sustainable economy with growth”, said the Deputy Governor of Smolyan. "Your weapons are thought, knowledge, self-confidence, and your challenge is the responsibility for all the good and real things in life. Be curious, hardworking, tolerant!" Mr Ruzhenov told the students, wishing them health and strength to withstand the challenges of the new age.

Established experts from the practice took part in the training - Maria Krasteva - Chief Inspector in the National Customs Agency in Plovdiv, Dr. Vasil Pavlov - Regional Manager of "Gescrap Rus", "Gescrap Romania", "Industrial Style Recycling".

"The event was organized as a result of interest shown by students for discussions with established experts from the practice," said the director of the Smolyan Branch of the University Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aneliya Parzhanova.

In the accompanying programme of the International Plovdiv Fair, the graduates of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" had the opportunity to meet with the director of the International Plovdiv Fair and lecturer at the university Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivan Sokolov. They took part in events with a wide thematic scope, which gave students the opportunity to acquire integrated knowledge in the field of project and administrative management, as well as to receive up-to-date information on business models, financing, promising economic trends.
