Our lecturers visited the Eurasian University in the Republic of Kazakhstan
Assoc. Prof. Georgi Kalaglarski, PhD delivered a lecture on "Trends in the Development of European Media" to students and lecturers at the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science of the Eurasian University in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The attendees showed an active interest in the development of the media in Bulgaria, the system for preparation of the Bulgarian journalists, the problems that accompany the Bulgarian journalism and shared a desire for the development of partnership relations with Varna Free University.

Opportunities for participation in scientific forums of Bulgarian and Kazakhstan journalists and for even more active professional contacts were discussed at a meeting with the Director General of the Teleradio Complex at the Presidency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr Erlan Bekhozhin - Chairman of the Club of Media Editors in the capital Astana. The meeting was also attended by the editor-in-chief of Infozakon news agency Marat Bashimov. Printed and electronic materials about the Union of Bulgarian Journalists were handed over, and also printed materials on the history of the Teleradio Complex of Kazakhstan were presented.
