PROBLEMS OF REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY WILL BE DISCUSSED BY STUDENTS AND EXPERTS AT A SCIENTIFIC FORUM

The Student Council of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" organises a Scientific Forum on the topic of Modern Problems of Regional Development and Urban Planning, as well as a student competition on the topic of Circular Economy. The events will take place from 12 to 15 November 2022. The official opening is on 12 November (Saturday) 2022 at 10 a.m. in Hall 2 of the University's Sports Complex.

Representatives of the state and municipal administrations, the heads of the regional associations of the Union of Architects and the Chamber of Architects, as well as the academic leadership of the university, are invited.

Students from various Bulgarian universities and students from secondary schools will present their reports in the scientific forum. Experts and lecturers will take part. Moderators of the event are Aksu Osman - a student majoring in Law and Tervel Chorbadzhiyski – a first-year student of psychology.

The forum is part of the scientific research activity of the student organization of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", which this year marks 25 years since its establishment. In the various modules, student papers and expert developments will be presented, followed by a discussion. The theme that unites all mentioned professional areas is Modern Problems of Regional Development and Urban Planning. At the same time, important topics related to the regions and urban planning solutions of the big cities will be touched upon.

During the Circular Economy competition, introductory lectures will be presented about what it is in the various professional areas. Students will be given assignments on specific problems. Later, they will present their solutions to them. Top performing students will be awarded certificates and prizes.
