Prof. Dr. Eng. Teodora Bakardzhieva is among the Top 100 Women in Business for 2025

Prof. Teodora Bakardzhieva is among the winners of the prestigious index “Top 100 Women in Business 2025”, initiated by Career Show. She was nominated by David Mavrodiev, a successful student majoring in Informatics and Computer Science at Varna Free University, who has specialized at Oxford University, MIT in the USA and currently at University College London, as well as by Valeri Ivanchev, a 2nd year student in the same major. Our university was highly recognized for the quality of education and the attitude towards students in one of the most sought-after majors at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" - Informatics and Computer Science.

“Top 100 Women in Business” is part of the Career Show Index initiative, which annually recognizes the remarkable achievements of professionals from various fields, with high expertise and contribution to the development of their field.The winners were determined based on a public vote, which took place in the period 17th - 30th March. The index includes 100 ladies who received the most support during the voting. The strong support for Prof. Teodora Bakardzhieva, from a total of over 28,000 votes, is proof of her contribution to the development not only of Varna Free University, but also of the ecosystem of education and science in Bulgaria, as Deputy Chairperson of the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria.
