Prof. Dr. med. Harald-Robert Bruch, M.Sc., Ph.D. with public lecture on the economic and medical aspects of Covid 19 in Europe

Prof. Dr. Harald-Robert Bruch - Professor of Infectious Diseases at the University of Seville, Spain and the University of Bonn, Germany and a renowned German hematologist and economist, will deliver a public lecture to students of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" on "Economic and Medical Aspects in the Light of the Spread of COVID 19 in Europe ".
The lecture is scheduled for tomorrow – 13 May 2020, at 2.00 pm in the virtual auditorium of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" at: meet.google.com/fiu-kair-kgc
In a particularly interesting way, Prof. Bruch will analyse COVID 19 and its spread in Bulgaria and Germany, not missing the comparison between the two countries. As a lecturer at the University of Seville, he will look also at the damage - human, social and economic - in Spain.
We will find out tomorrow what is important to know from a medical and economic point of view about the disease that caused the world pandemic, which is unprecedented in our century, and what are the scenarios facing the world economy.

Prof. Dr. med. Harald-Robert Bruch, M.Sc., Ph.D. was born on 7 May 1964 in Siegburg.
He graduated in human medicine from the Medical University of Bonn. He defended his doctorate under the guidance of Prof. D.Sc. Schweikert at the University Clinic at the Medical University of Bonn, Department of Endocrinology. He holds Hepatology and Oncological Gastroenterology certificates from the Society of Gastroenterology and Metabolic Diseases. Since 2007 he has been a professor of medicine at the University of Seville, Spain.
In June 2008, Prof. Dr. Bruch is an expert on the expert committee on treatment errors in the North Rhine Chamber of Physicians.
Since 2009 he has been a visiting professor of "Internal Medicine" in the German and English language courses at the Medical Faculty of the University of Pecs, Hungary.
European gastroenterologist and hepatologist, member of the European Council of Gastroenterology and Hepatology since 2010.
The University of Pecs declared him Doctor of Philosophy / Ph.D. on 01 December 2011 and for professor extraordinarius (Címzetes egyetemi tanár) on 12 June 2013. His habilitation is on the topic "Cancer Information by Physicians in Western versus Eastern Europe" with the award of a doctor's degree and teaching qualification (Venia legendi) on 16 November 2015. Since 2018 he has been a guest lecturer in palliative medicine at the University of Bethlehem.
He has numerous scientific publications and lectures on topics in the field of endocrinology, hepatology and oncology.
