PROF. PAVEL PAVLOV, PHD WAS AWARDED THE ORDER OF CHERNORIZETS HRABAR

Varna Free University honoured Prof. Pavel Pavlov, PhD with the Order of Chernorizets Hrabar - the highest distinction of the university, which was presented by the President - Assoc. Prof. Krasimir Nedyalkov, PhD in the presence of the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees Prof. Anna Nedyalkova, D.Sc., Prof. Petar Hristov, PhD - Rector, the Academic Leadership and representatives of the academic community.

The decision to award the Order of Chernorizets Hrabar was made by the Academic Council of Varna Free University upon the proposal of Prof. Anna Nedyalkova, D.Sc. The distinction is recognition of the long-standing and consistent contribution of Prof. Pavel Pavlov, PhD to the development and establishment of the university, as well as on the occasion of his 80th anniversary.

During the ceremony, Prof. Pavlov's contribution to building a stable academic and institutional authority of Varna Free University was highlighted, as well as his active role in key processes of the university's development.

Prof. Pavlov’s life has been connected to the academic community for of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" for over 20 years. He is a member of the University's Board of Trustees. Prof. Pavlov works as a lecturer of administration and management, head of a department, head of national and international projects and master's programmes, as well as a member of university committees and scientific juries. He is the initiator and long-time director of the Centre for Doctoral Training.

As Vice-Rector of Varna Free University, and currently Advisor to the Rector, Prof. Pavlov has made a significant contribution to the development of the management processes at the university. With his expertise in the field of public administration and quality management systems, he participates in the work of the governing bodies, in the establishment of partnerships with ministries and central agencies, as well as in the preparation and implementation of programme and institutional accreditations.

Participating in national and international scientific networks and professional organizations, Prof. Pavel Pavlov, PhD consistently works to strengthen the authority and public presence of Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar”.

The awarding of the Order of Chernorizets Hrabar reflects the recognition of the academic community for his long-standing dedication, high professionalism and sustainable contribution to the development of the university.
