Professor Petar Angelov Receives Award
The artistic director of the Academic Dance Theatre “Chernorizets Hrabar” was presented with the Herald of Enlightenment award.
For the second year, the national representation of students’ councils organizes the Herald of Enlightenment 2014 national competition. The competition aims to gather, present and popularize those positive events, ideas, messages and personalities in Bulgaria, linked to the development and the better future of Bulgarian culture, education and science.
Professor Angelov received an award in the category They – the heralds of enlightenment 2014 – for a personality in the Bulgarian cultural, educational and scientific community. Within the same category awards received the author of the book Time of Parting, Acad. Anton Donchev, the great Bulgarian actor Stefan Danailov, the singer Yanka Rupkina, Prof. D.Sc. Ovanes Menekyan, Head of Mathematical Chemistry Lab at Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov University and the youngest professor in Bulgaria Prof. Drozdstoy Stoyanov, PhD.
The official award ceremony took place on 20th May 2014, at 18:30 in Helikon bookshop, Sofia.
