The webinar on AutoCAD, organized by the Department of Construction of Buildings and Structures at the Faculty of Architecture at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", aroused considerable interest. It was attended by students from vocational secondary schools in construction, architecture and geodesy and vocational technical secondary schools.
Assoc. Prof. Rositsa Petkova-Slipets - Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Assoc. Prof. Daria Mihaleva - Head of the Department of Construction of Buildings and Structures congratulated the participants for their desire to develop and master the programs for design and drawing. They presented the training in the specialties in the portfolio of the Faculty of Architecture - Architecture, Construction of Buildings and Structures, Design and Arts, as well as the opportunities for application and training in them. The students can now keep their place at the university by declaring their desire to study at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
Lecturer of the webinar was Assoc. Prof. Aneta Georgieva, who introduced the participants to the vast world of AutoCAD and revealed some of the niceties of the program. With special interest, the participants followed the information about specific commands, the connections with external programs and the secrets of programming. "We can make an object in AutoCAD in at least three different ways. But if we don't master it well, we will use a combination of many commands, which will take us time," said Assoc. Prof. Georgieva.
At the end, the participants had the opportunity to ask their questions about the tasks assigned to them, the materials provided and the training opportunities at the Faculty of Architecture. All those who have successfully completed the tasks will receive a certificate that complements their professional portfolio and will give priority when applying in the specialties Construction of Buildings and Structures, Water Supply and Sewerage, Transport Construction and Fire Safety and Population Protection for the academic year 2021/2022.
Due to the great interest and numerous inquiries, the Department of Construction of Buildings and Structures will conduct new training sessions for secondary students.
