VFU Master’s degree students from programs in project management were received by Emil Radev, MEP (GERB/EPP)at the European Parliament. As part of their training, the students have a one-week internship in Brussels, where they have the opportunity to learn about the work of the European institutions and the process of making European legislation.
During their meeting with Emil Radev, the students were introduced to the activities of the only directly elected institution of the EU and the Bulgarian delegation of GERB/EPP. Together with the MEP from GERB/EPP, they discussed topics such as the priorities of Bulgaria in the European policy on migration and the fight against terrorism, the absorption of EU funds in the country and the development of the Bulgarian infrastructure, especially in the region of Varna and the forthcoming exhibition of Varna gold treasure organized by Emil Radev in Brussels in the autumn of 2015.
At the end of their visit to the European Parliament, Emil Radev (GERB / EPP) presented the students with certificates of successful participation in the internship.
