STUDENTS FROM FOUR COUNTRIES DEFENDED THEIR THESES IN THE MASTER'S PROGRAMME IN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS PROJECT MANAGEMENT

02 July 2026

The students from the master's programme in International Business Project Management, a full-time mode of studies in English at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", successfully defended their diploma theses.

Graduating students from China, Germany, Nigeria and Syria participated in the defences.

The thesis projects were distinguished by their relevance, in-depth analysis and practical applicability. The topics cover some of the most important challenges facing modern business – the use of artificial intelligence in healthcare and project financing, AI-based cyber threats and cyber resilience, foreign investments, the adaptation of Chinese enterprises to the regulatory framework of the European Union, green trade policy, business transformations and international grant schemes.

The presented theses showed that the training successfully combines knowledge of international project management, digital transformation, strategic analysis, sustainable development, European regulation and work on real business cases.

The current defences are the first part of the graduation of the class. In the autumn session, the remaining students of the programme – from the USA, Ukraine, Russia, Egypt, Greece, Bangladesh, India and Cameroon – will defend their theses. The international profile of the training continues to expand, as the programme attracts students from different regions of the world.

In September, the traditional practical training in the European institutions in Brussels is also coming up, including visits to the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union, the Committee of the Regions and other institutions. After successfully completing the training, the students receive an official certificate.

The lecturers in the programme congratulated the successfully graduated students and wished them professional realization and success in managing future international projects.
