The Academic Dance Theater "Chernorizets Hrabar" with the Varna Award nomination for outstanding achievements in the field of culture
The jury awarding the Varna award for Achievements in the field of culture announced the people and teams that will compete for the award this year. The nominations were specified by last year's winners, who have traditionally been included in the committee.
The Academic Dance Theater "Chernorizets Hrabar", managed by Prof. Petar Angelov, received a nomination for the "Varna" Award in the "Dnce" category.
Established in 1998 as the folk ensemble "Academica", in May 2008 the ensemble grew into the "Chernorizets Hrabar" Academic Dance Theater. For the 20 years of its existence, it has established itself as an integral part of the cultural life of Varna and the country.
The artists from the Academic Dance Theater present the beauty, the diversity of colour and the soul of the Bulgarian dance in many concerts and performances throughout the country and abroad. The contact of the audience with the artistry in the young performers' dance and every sip from the live spring of the Bulgarian dance art brings pride and sophistication.
On April 28 from 19.00 in the Festival and Congress Center - Varna, the Academic Dance Theater will present the show "Dance flows from the soul", dedicated to the 20th anniversary of its establishment.
