THE ALLIANCE FOR ADAPTATION OF BULGARIAN ARCHITECTS TO THE GERMAN MARKET FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES PROJECT CAUSED A LOT MORE INTEREST THAN WE EXPECTED

14 February 2023

Over 350 architects and university students from all over the country participated in the courses organized by Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" under the project "Alliance for Adaptation of Bulgarian Architects to the German Market for Architectural Services", co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union and with partners Foundation "Institute for Digital Transformations" and the Munich architecture company ST Architekten GmbH.

The courses provoked the interest of five times more participants than originally planned, involving not only practicing architects and architecture students from various universities, but also listeners.

This became clear at the final conference on the project, which was attended by the chairmen of the regional boards of the Chamber of Architects in Sofia, Burgas and Varna - arch. Vasil Vasilev, arch. Sabin Popov and arch. Marin Velchev. Special guest was arch. Georg Wintgen.

Prof. Dr. Galina Shamonina - Secretary General of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" congratulated the participants and organizers, wishing the training to be continued in the future.

The relevance of the training topics was mentioned, emphasizing the serious need of the union for continuing education.

Arch. Dipl. Eng. Stoyan Todorov, a graduate from the Technical University of Munich, a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Architects, the Association of Freelance Architects in Germany and the Association of German Engineers, presented the certificates to those who successfully passed the final exam.
