The Chinese Imprint - An Introductory Guide to Tradition and Modernity

The Foreign Language Teaching Department and The Department of Foreign Language Teaching and Postgraduate Qualification organizes lectures on Chinese traditions, lifestyle and culture under the title: The Chinese Imprint - an Introductory Guide to Tradition and Modernity".

The event aims at students, lectures and staff and will be held in three consecutive weeks - on December 4, 11 and 18, 2024 from 3:30 pm to 4:15 pm in the Conference Hall of the Language Center at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
The lectures will be held in English by Zhang Yu - a Chinese language teacher and lecturer from the University of Finance and Economics in Ningbo - China, a partner of Varna Free University.

Topics include:
► Overview of traditional and contemporary Chinese life;
► Presentation of Chinese food and culture;
► Legends and myths: stories from ancient China
