The exhibition ‘Vinyl Fantasies’ by students from VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" is to be opened

In a few hours, the exhibition "Vinyl Fantasies" by students from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will be opened. The event will be organized at the Art Department of the Regional Library "Pencho Slaveykov" - Varna.

The exhibition presents long-playing vinyl records painted by students from Varna Free University as part of their "Painting and Visual Arts" classes. The records were used as a basis for painting with acrylic paints, and in places techniques such as decoupage, collage and 3D effects were also applied.

The project gives new life to vinyl media that were intended for recycling and turns them into artistic objects. The exhibition brings together music and fine arts through various visual interpretations - from plot-based to associative and emotional solutions.

The opening is on April 8th, 2026 at 5:30 p.m.
