The Faculty of Architecture at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" welcomes researchers from Bulgaria and abroad at the XII International Scientific Conference on Architecture and Civil Engineering ArCivE'2025
On May 31st, 2025, the XII International Scientific Conference on Architecture and Civil Engineering ArCivE’2025 will be held at VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar”. The scientific forum is an emblem for the Faculty of Architecture at Varna Free University. Nearly 50 participants have applied to take part in the conference - scientists, lecturers, doctoral and university students from Bulgaria and abroad. Over 30 reports in the field of architecture, construction and fire safety will be presented.
Highlights of the scientific forum are building information modeling (BIM), the preservation of architectural heritage, new trends in architectural planning and design, and new approaches in construction and fire engineering.
Extremely interesting and impressive plenary reports are planned, which will present not only scientific achievements in the field of BIM, bridge construction and urbanism, but will also demonstrate good practices for international cooperation, work in international teams and successful interaction between “students and lecturers”.
For the first time, the conference will feature a poster session, in which 13 posters will be presented.
The twelfth edition of the International Scientific Conference on Architecture and Civil Engineering ArCivE’2025 will be held together with the student scientific conference 'Space Future. Innovations in All Aspects of Science', organized by the Student Council at VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar”. The forum aims at encouraging student activity in scientific and research activities, as well as to provide an opportunity to present ideas and projects related to the future of space technologies and their application in various scientific areas.
