THE FIRST CONFERENCE IN BULGARIA DEDICATED TO THE PROGRAMMES FOR CLIMATE AND WORLD ECONOMY UNITED 30 YOUNG SCIENTISTS FROM SIX COUNTRIES

The international online conference for students and PhD students on Programmes for Climate and World Economy was held at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". The event was organised by the Department of Economics and was held under the patronage of Prof. Anna Nedyalkova, D.Sc.  - Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the University. This is the first conference on this issue for students and PhD students in Bulgaria.

The conference was attended by 30 young scientists from Bulgaria, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Kazakhstan and Lebanon. The Bulgarian participants were represented by PhD students and students from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", NBU, PU "Paisiy Hilendarski", "D.A. Tsenov" Academy of Business - Svishtov.

The participants discussed topics related to climate change, green economy, green finance and more. The reports also focused on the international community's efforts to find common solutions to climate problems in many countries and regions. An important focus of the research was the initiatives of the European Union to achieve the goals of the Green Deal - building a climate-neutral economy and digitalization of the Single Market.

Great interest aroused the young scientists Andrean Andreev - a student in the master's programme in Advertising and Public Relations in Business Management at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", Daniela Stoyanova, Tsenka Staneva, Hristina Hineva, Ivelina Chaveova, Lora Peycheva, Greta , Semra Gogche, Stefan Gerstner, Ryan Merhi, Dimitar Keranov, Ali Maki, Hala Naus and others.

The subsequent discussions approbated the research of the young scientists and stimulated the scientific growth of the PhD students with the development of important social problems.
