The Department of Foreign Language Education and Postgraduate Qualification at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" organized a field trip under the name "The Old Capitals of Bulgaria" for the foreign students from the preparatory course for language and specialized training.
The purpose of the field trip was not only to improve the communicative skills and competences of the students in Bulgarian language in practical terms, but also to enrich their knowledge of the history, culture and traditions of the Bulgarian people.
During the two days of the trip, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dimitar Marinov and the foreign students from Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan visited the Pliska Archaeological Reserve, the Architectural Complex Builders of the Bulgarian State and the Old Town in Shumen, the Archaeological Reserve and the Veliki Preslav Museum, the Madara Archaeological Reserve.
Having received a wonderful opportunity to touch a part of the material and spiritual culture from the First Bulgarian State, the students thanked the organizers from the Department. The participants in the excursion united around the opinion that Bulgarian history is extremely interesting and full of events. It is a convincing testimony that the Bulgarian people make an important and valuable contribution to the development of European and world civilization.
