THE PSYCHOLOGISTS OF VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR: "STAY IN A GOOD MOOD AND KEEP THE POSITIVE PERSPECTIVE"

On the day of the psychologist - April 4, a team from the Bulgarian National Television met with the head of the Department of Psychology at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" - Assoc. Prof. Krasimir Ivanov, PhD, M.D. and the university alumni - Kamelia Nikolova, consultant psychologist and Svilen Lapakov, oncology psychologist.
Since the beginning of April, a team of over 20 volunteers from the Master's degree programmes in Psychological Counseling, Psychology and Psychopathology of Development, Applied Psychology, as well as from the postgraduate programmes, under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Krasimir Ivanov, PhD, M.D. consult anyone who needs help from the Psychological Counseling Hotline in relation to experiencing isolation or has difficulty adjusting to the civil emergency.
The vaccine for psychological immunity - firstly, is to be in a good mood, secondly, to have a positive perspective, no matter how strange it may sound, commented Assoc. Prof. Ivanov. "Don't panic" is the advice of the specialists in the psychological support programme of Varna Free University. The team is individually tailored to everyone, their advice is to think about our priorities and keep calm so that we do not lose our psychological immunity.
