The reading marathon at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" will be dedicated to the Varna poet Atanas Stoev

The Department of Foreign Language Teaching and Postgraduate Qualification and the University Library of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" are organizing a Reading Marathon on the occasion of the World Book and Copyright Day, which will be held on April 23rd, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. in the University Library.
This year, the event is dedicated to the Varna poet Atanas Stoev. An exhibition of his poetry collections and books has been arranged in the University Library, which is open to everyone. Those present will also be able to learn about his social contribution through a specially prepared film that will be broadcast as part of the initiative. The poet's wife and daughter will be guests at the event.
We invite students, lecturers and employees of the university to join us and celebrate this holiday of speech and culture together.
As part of the initiative, a competition is also being held for the translation of a literary text from English or Russian into Bulgarian, in which all students of Varna Free University can participate. The competition encourages linguistic creativity and intercultural dialogue skills through translation.
