The Rector of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and students from the Faculty of Architecture with honors and awards from Nikola Y. Vaptsarov Naval Academy
Today, on the eve of May 24th - the Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian Alphabet, Education and Culture, and of the Slavic Literature - a solemn ceremony was held at Nikola Y. Vaptsarov Naval Academy to award distinguished lecturers, doctoral students, university students and administrative staff of the school.
Along with them were the distinguished students majoring in Architecture and Interior Design at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", who participated in the Erasmus+ competition on the topic INTERIOR PROJECT FOR DESIGN OF COMMON SPACES IN THE BUILDING OF NIKOLA YONKOV VAPTSAROV NAVAL ACADEMY, CITY OF VARNA. These are:
- Denislav Bonev and Mariela Nikolova majoring in Interior Design - 1st place with a joint project for Situation 1 – Central Building – landings on the 3rd and 4th floors;
- Vesselina Kotseva and Denitsa-Ioana Laskova - majoring in Architecture - 1st place with a joint project for Situation 2 – East and West Buildings – top floor;
- Tsvetan Mitev – majoring in Architecture - 1st place with a project for Situation 3 – entrance to the Department of Ship Repairs;
- Milena Georgieva - majoring in Architecture - 2nd place for a project for Situation 1 – Central Building – landings on the 3rd and 4th floors;
- Boryana Polimenova - majoring in Interior Design - 2nd place with a project for Situation 2 – East and West Buildings – top floor;
- Vesselina Kotseva and Denitsa-Ioana Laskova – majoring in Architecture – 2nd place with a joint project for Situation 3 – entrance to the Department of Ship Repairs;
- Simona Petrova - majoring in Interior Design - 3rd place for a project for Situation 1 – Central Building – landings on the 3rd and 4th floors;
- Mariana Yordanova - majoring in Interior Design - 3rd place with a project for Situation 2 – East and West Buildings – top floor;
- Andrea Nikolova – majoring in Interior Design – 3rd place with a project for Situation 3 – entrance to the Department of Ship Repairs.
The projects of our colleagues were evaluated by an expert jury - Arch. Marin Velchev - Chairperson of the Chamber of Architects in Bulgarian - Varna Department and Arch. Pavleta Pavlova - Representative of the Union of Architects of Bulgaria, Varna, as well as by students and cadets from the Naval Academy.
The students from VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" were awarded by Fleet Admiral Prof. Dr. Kalin Kalinov - Head of N. Y. Vaptsarov Naval Academy - Varna.
At the solemn ceremony, a plaque for cooperation between the universities was also received by Prof. Dr. Petar Hristov – Rector of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar".
