Among them is Yuri Gagarin, who visited our city on May 26, 1961 - a month and a half after his space flight. A special place is devoted to the Bulgarian space team - Georgi Ivanov, Alexander Alexandrov and Krassimir Stoyanov from Varna. The exhibition panels convey the atmosphere of the days and events that left "space" memories in our city. The exhibition is developed by teams of teachers and students who actively document and study the history of space flight and research. Unique documents from state, institutional, public and personal archives were systematized. With the exhibition, the university participates in the international competition
First in Space, organized by the Russkiy Mir Foundation.
The exhibition is expected to be presented to students from other schools in Varna and the region. A virtual tour available online for anyone interested in the history of astronautics is to be prepared.
