The Student Ilyaz Ilyaz about His Erasmus Semester at The Politecnico Di Milano – The Architecture as an International Language

Ilyaz Ilyaz, a third-year student majoring in Architecture at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", returned from his Erasmus semester, which he spent at one of the most prestigious technical universities in Europe - Politecnico di Milano, which this year is in the TOP100 of universities in Europe.

Ilyaz had the opportunity to study, design and communicate with colleagues from all over the world. He was an ambassador of our university.

The building in which he studied was designed by the world-famous architect Renzo Piano, an alumni of Politecnico di Milano.

Arch. Piano donated the conceptual sketches to the university and set the main idea for the new campus, which is a combination of sustainability, light and functionality in a modern educational environment. Today, the campus represents a harmony between new architecture, green spaces, digital laboratories and outdoor learning areas - a space that creates conditions for inspiration and development of future architects.

Ilyaz Ilyaz shares that the Erasmus semester at Politecnico di Milano gave him not only valuable academic experience, but also the opportunity to be part of an international community united by the language of architecture, innovation and sustainable thinking.
