The Dean of the Faculty of Law at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" Prof. D. Sc. Yonko Kunchev and Assoc. Prof. Stefko Burdzhiev - Head of the Department of Public Order and Security at the Faculty of Law at the university held a meeting with 140 police officers at the Center for Specialized Police Training in Varna.
The meeting presented the training opportunities in the specialties of the Faculty of Law - Law, Counteraction to Crime and Public Order Protection, Protection of National Security (after completing secondary education), as well as the master's programmes Forensic Expertise, Customs Intelligence and Investigation and Intelligent Security Systems (after bachelor's degree). The police officers showed great interest in the conditions for application and the training process, asking a number of specific questions to the university representatives.
Prof. Kunchev and Assoc. Prof. Burdzhiev wished the police officers a successful professional career, emphasizing that a high level of education is a necessary condition for its implementation. Readiness was expressed for cooperation and organization of trainings with the participation of university professors.
The Master's Programme in Forensic Expertise (criminalistic, psychological and economic) prepares specialists with legal capacity as experts and practical skills for expert work in criminal and civil cases. Key experts and practitioners participate in the programme.
