TONY BIDZHONOV IS THE NEW CHAIRMAN OF THE STUDENT COUNCIL AT VARNA FREE UNIVERSITY
Tony Bidzhonov is the new Chairman of the Student Council of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" for the term 2025–2027. The decision was made at the regular reporting and election meeting of the Student Council.
During the meeting, a report on the activities of the Council during the term 2023–2025 was presented by the current Chairman Velizar Chander. The report covered the numerous events implemented by the students - initiatives, current projects and the main directions in the work of the student organization during the period.
Within the framework of the election procedure, the concepts for the development of student self-government of the candidates Tony Bidzhonov, Iva Yaneva and Antoaneta Tsoneva were heard. In their presentations, they emphasised the priorities and strategic goals for the next term, aimed at more active participation of students in the academic and institutional life of the university.
After the vote, Tony Bidzhonov was elected as the Chairman of the Student Council. He also introduced the new Deputy Chairpersons - Iva Yaneva and Antoaneta Tsoneva, as well as the new Secretary - Ilina Ilieva. Ilyaz Ilyaz and Vanesa Sabkova remain on the board.
Tony Bidzhonov is a third-year student majoring in National Security; he is also the chairman of the Music Club of the University Varna Free Band. In the previous term he was the deputy secretary of the Student Council.
