TRAININGS IN THE PROJECT KNIGHTS IN CYBER SPACE ARE TO BEGIN

In the period 24-26 October, VFU will host trainings for students and lecturers related to cyber security.

The speaker is Simeon Nguyen.

He will demonstrate some of the abilities of the latest hacking devices as well as the most common cyber threats. He graduated in Systems Programming and has a bachelor's degree in Psychology. He has been working in the IT field for more than 10 years and holds various ethical hacking certificates.

The following topics will be covered during the training:
1. Introduction to cyber security and why it is so important for an organization and for each of us;
2. Information leakage process;
3. Protection of information;
4. Practical user protection - password security, social engineering, malware, physical security, other threats and best practices.
5. What to do if we have already been hacked.
