The participants in the master class "Business Leadership and Entrepreneurship. Best Practices" describe it as inspiring, useful and memorable. The three-day forum was organized by Varna Free University" Chernorizets Hrabar "and the University of Cincinnati.

"It is impossible for me to describe in a few words what is happening these days at Varna Free University ", said during the final session Prof. George Vredeveld - one of the main foreign lecturers in the master class.”What all the attendees had in common, no matter whether they were students, entrepreneurs or business leaders, was the respect. The respect you treated us, your lecturers with, but also the respect for yourselves, which is an important part of the personal development of each individual. I find it very inspiring. I can also say "wonderful"– the team of this master class was wonderful, the partnership with the university too, but you - the participants were fantastic and I would like to thank you", said Professor Vredeveld.

    The unusual decision to participate not only students but also representatives of the business in the master class, created opportunities for exchanging ideas and sharing best practices in business leadership and entrepreneurship.

    Within 3 days - from 9 to 11 May, business representatives and experts from the USA and Bulgaria presented innovative and established best practices that enable companies to grow and succeed in a complex and rapidly changing competitive environment.

    In direct dialogue with the students entered figures such as Prof. George Vredeveld, Prof. Richard MacDonald, Gene Lauterbach and Elena Koseva. Through interactive sessions, experts in the banking and technology sectors, management, marketing, service and coaching joined the master class.

    Among the topics presented by the speakers in the master class were the foundations of leadership, creating a culture of leadership, entrepreneurship in the public sector, key factors of political leadership, the use of cloud technologies to increase productivity, the role of pricing, marketing management in large companies, the role of women - business leaders and building up a successful business environment for people with disabilities.

    The participants were awarded certificates of Varna Free University and the University of Cincinnati.     The master class was closed by Prof. Dr. Sc. Galya Gercheva, Rector of VFU, who thanked the participants and speakers and expressed words of deep gratitude to the President of Varna Free University, Prof. Dr. Sc. Anna Nedyalkova – inspirer of the conducted master classes, which turned to be a distinctive feature of the higher education institution. 

 

    "This master class gave us the unique opportunity to be extensively acquainted with the successful practices of outstanding professionals from the USA and the global economic environment.     As a result of the excellent preparation and conduct of the master class, we met educational and business leaders who revealed the secrets of their hands-on experience.     The discussions and interactive sessions developed our analytical understanding of personal success, corporate culture, market logics and the spirit of entrepreneurship.

    The benefit of participating in the master class is not limited only to the contact with the invited academic and business professionals, but it also gave us the opportunities to build up connections among ourselves for a successful future partnership."
