VANESSA SABKOVA AND MILA PETROVA ARE WINNERS OF THE NAMED AWARDS OF THE MAYOR OF VARNA MUNICIPALITY

On the eve of the Student's Day, December 8th, the mayor of Varna Blagomir Kotsev and the chairman of the Municipal Council Hristo Dimitrov presented awards to 13 students from the universities of Varna, ranked at Olympiads, international and national competitions and contests.

The named awards of the Mayor of Varna Municipality this year went to Vanessa Sabkova - a 3rd year student, majoring in Graphic Design and Mila Petrova - a 5th year student, majoring in Law at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".

Vanessa was honored for her project 'The Sethian', which was selected for the cover of the eponymous edition for 2023. In the competition, Vanessa competed with 127 young designers from all over the country. She is a member of the University Student Council and successfully works as a designer in Bulgaria and abroad.

Mila Petrova was awarded in the category Social, Еconomic and Legal Sciences. The fifth-year student has been an excellent student for the whole duration of her studies at the university. Mila is part of the team of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" in civil and commercial law. She is a member of the Student Council.
Our girls were supported by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eleonora Tankova - Deputy Rector of Varna Free University, who attended the ceremony.
