Varna Free University began its participation in the project "Student Practices - from Higher Education to Employment'

Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" is included in the implementation of the BG05SFPR001-3.002-0001 project 'Student Practices - from Higher Education to Employment', funded by the Education Programme 2021-2027 and co-financed by the European Union.
Possibility for real practical experience
The project enables 1640 students from VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" to gain valuable practical experience in a real work environment as part of their education in the respective educational qualification degree. The aim is to facilitate the transition from the university to the labour market, to encourage cooperation between higher education institutions and employers, and to develop sustainable mechanisms for the professional realization of young people.

Who can participate in the project?
All active students of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar| who are in the register of the Ministry of Education and Science as active or on leave of absence university and doctoral students can be included in the practical training. Also, students who have completed their last semester but have not yet passed a state exam are allowed to take part. One student can participate once for each educational qualification degree in a major, and in some cases (e.g. for 'master' after secondary
education) - up to twice.
How do you apply?
The application is carried out online through the project platform https://edujobs.mon.bg/, where a student registration guide is published. After approval, students have:
► to confirm their participation in a specific position;
► to fill in their personal bank account for the scholarship;
► to choose an academic adviser;
► to generate a practice schedule confirmed by the mentor and the adviser;
► to print and sign contracts (three copies) as well as a declaration of participation

Documents can be submitted every Monday and Tuesday from 09:00 to 12:00 in the International Affairs and Projects Office.
How does the practical training take place?
The internship is carried out over a period of 240 actual hours in a real working environment, either individually or in groups. The practice is carried out within 240 hours in a real working environment, individually or in groups. Each student works under the mentorship of a lecturer from Varna Free University and under the supervision of a mentor from the respective organization. Students who successfully complete the internship receive a certificate and a scholarship of 1,080 BGN.
Safety and insurance
VFU 'Chernorizets Hrabar' provides accident insurance for each participating student, with coverage valid for a period of six months. If desired, students may arrange additional insurance at their own expense.
