Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” and the Union of Bulgarian Journalists Present a Forum on Communication, Media, and Artificial Intelligence
Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” and the Union of Bulgarian Journalists (UBJ) are organizing a masterclass “The Art of Communication”, which will take place on September 2nd–3rd, 2025, at the International House of Journalists near Varna.
The special guest will be renowned U.S. media expert Dr. Arthur Kordon, who will deliver the keynote lecture “Media and Artificial Intelligence: The Ideal Assistant; Negative Effects; Three Major Battles.”
The topic will also be addressed by Prof. Dr. Stefan Serezliev in his lecture “Artificial Intelligence: Branding; Public Relations; Digital Advertising.”
Prof. Dr. Margarita Pesheva and Prof. D. Sc. Milko Petrov will present their four-volume work “History of Bulgarian Television Journalism – From the Beginning to Today.”
Two of the leading Master’s programmes of Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” will also be presented:
► Cultural Tourism Management – an interdisciplinary programme focused on managing cultural heritage as a resource for sustainable tourism. The training includes practical activities, photo safaris, and workshops with international experts.

► Advertising and Public Relations in Business Management – a programme that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills in corporate communication, image-building, and crisis PR. Graduates will be prepared for leading positions in business, media, and the public sector.
