Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” to Award Diplomas to Its 31st Graduating Class

The academic management of Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” will award higher education diplomas to more than 400 graduates from the spring and summer sessions of the Class of 2026 at an official graduation ceremony on November 6th, 2026 (Friday), at 1:00 p.m. in the university’s Aula Maxima in Varna. Of these graduates, 300 have completed Bachelor’s degree programmes and 110 have completed Master’s degree programmes.
A further 110 students will graduate from the university’s Smolyan Branch. Their official graduation ceremony will take place on November 28th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Rhodope town of Smolyan.
The Class of 2026 is the 31st graduating class in the university’s history. The graduation ceremony is taking place in the year in which Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” celebrates the 35th anniversary of its establishment.
Upon graduation, the graduates will join the alumni community of Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar,” which brings together generations of former students. Today, the children of some of the university’s earliest graduates are already studying in its classrooms — a sign of the enduring trust in and connection with the academic community.
Before receiving their diplomas at the ceremony in Varna, graduates must personally sign the official registration books at the Graduation and Certification Office.
Signing will take place on November 4th and 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., as well as on the day of the graduation ceremony, November 6th, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
On the day of the ceremony, graduates will receive their academic gowns in the foyer outside Aula Maxima between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Diplomas without photographs and without the graduate’s signature in the official registration book will not be presented during the graduation ceremony.
