Varna Free University congratulated the bass Geo Chobanov on his 25 years on stage

The Vice President of Varna Free University Yani Yanev and Prof. Dr. Galina Shamonina, Dean of Student Life and Event Management, were guests of the opera “Nabucco”, which marked the 25th anniversary from the creative path of the bass Geo Chobanov.

On behalf of the academic community, the Vice President of the university offered congratulations for the contribution of the distinguished artist to the musical art and cultural life. In his speech, Yani Yanev also expressed his respect for the artists of the Varna Opera for their powerful performance, which brought the audience a profound and inspiring spiritual experience. The address emphasized the long-standing partnership between Varna Free University and Geo Chobanov. Geo Chobanov has established himself as a leading bass with significant stage incarnations in the opera repertoire. His emblematic roles in "Nabucco", "Attila", "Don Pasquale" and "The Flying Dutchman" stand out. This testifies to his wide artistic range and strong stage presence.
