VARNA FREE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE FASHION FORUM - VARNA

The second edition of the Bulgarian Fashion Forum - Varna was held at the Ensana Aquahouse complex in the St Constantine and St Elena resort. The founder, president and organiser of the event is Nelly Anastasova - known in fashion circles not only as the creator, but also as the creative director of her eponymous fashion brand for haute couture.

Among the participants were world-renowned Bulgarian designers - Ivan Donev, Nikolay Bozhilov, Prof. Mariela Gemisheva, Svetoslav Kolchagov, Iliya Iliev, Lilyana Petrova and Nikoleta Farah. Fashion Design students at Varna Free University - Desislava Veselinova with AZARIA and Emilia Toncheva with ATELIER0306 also presented their brands.

First to fourth year students of the Fashion Design major conducted their internship during the forum, working as assistants to the designers. They participated in the preparation of the fashion shows and gained valuable practical experience in the organization and implementation of such events.

Teamwork with professionals from the fashion industry and with the faculty members – Assoc. Prof. Savka Kazalarska, Assoc. Prof. Kapka Manasieva, PhD and Diana Miteva, confirmed the effectiveness of the training based on the connection with practice.
