Varna Free University will celebrate Olympic Day with a sports festival on June 6th

On the eve of the International Olympic Day, Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will celebrate the event with a sports festival, which will be held on June 6th, 2025 in the Eastern Park of the university. The start is at 10:00 am!
All students, lecturers and employees of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" are invited.

The event is organized in partnership with the Bulgarian Olympic Committee, as part of the initiatives to promote Olympic values in education.
The sports festival includes competitions in the following disciplines:
- Badminton
- Table Tennis
- Relay Games
- Gymnastics

A solemn ceremony will also be held to award outstanding athletes from VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", who have achieved excellent results in university, national and international competitions.

All participants in the sports festival will be awarded a diploma from the Bulgarian Olympic Committee.

International Olympic Day is celebrated every year on June 23rd, at the initiative of the International Olympic Committee since 1948. It celebrates the universal values of Olympism – respect, equality, friendship and the pursuit of excellence and encourages sports activity among all people, regardless of age, gender or nationality.
